I don't see any outrage for the people who live below the poverty line. No one speaks of them. My sister worked her entire life until she had a stroke 6 years ago. She's 60 years old and can no longer work. She's stuck on ODSP and runs out of food every month. She's going to die before the end of Ford's term. He will continue to keep these people suffering. She's going to starve,develop illness due to malnutrition or just give up. Who is going to stand up for the recipients of ODSP and OW? My sister is just one story.
I would like to know your position on Ford’s proposal to take over and expand the Island airport and what action you are prepared to take. This issue is both a provincial and federal matter.
Since the RCMP refuse to act there feels like little can be done to take this corrupt premier and his party down - combine that with the new investigation into the OPP (which was long overdue - tho does it focus on rural communities where drug dealers are given a free pass???) people here have given up - if the laws only apply to us at the bottom and not the people who have weaseled into power what hope do we have?
