Nate, you are a great example for the future of the Liberal Party in Ontario! I was disappointed when PMMC replaced you in Cabinet as Housing Minister after PMJT convinced you to stay! We need you with your honesty and integrity even when you don’t follow the Party Line! I admire that!

Indeed there must be an inquiry and not by the old guard! We lost many elections in my former riding due to the old guard not supporting our duly elected Candidate!

I voted for you for Party Leader & will do so again! Don’t give up!

It’s hard not to believe the Ontario Liberal Party is irreparably dysfunctional. The OLP knew this nomination process was vulnerable to misbehaviour and fraud, yet chose to pretend that all was well. I have read scrutineers’ accounts of their experience Saturday and it belies belief that the OLP can unabashedly claim there was ‘nothing to see here’. So good for you for calling it out. It is to your credit that you are walking away from the riding regardless of the investigation outcome. This Province needs you as Premier, for your kind of principle is certainly absent in our current Premier. Best wishes going forward.

Those are very serious concerns which should be impartially investigated.

Yes, the voting procedure and votes need to be scrutinized.

"It is obvious, for example, that we need to amend voter eligibility rules to limit participation to citizens and permanent residents."

And voters should be 18+. These nominations are a fundamental part of the democratic process and the rules should be the same as in the general.

We're lucky to have you as our MP. The province would be lucky to have you as a premier. Who else could actually go toe-to-toe with Doug Ford? Scott Kennedy

I agree! Ontario LP needs a lot of change.

Like so many others, I was shocked to hear of the results. Ontario needs you to bring integrity back to our Provincial Politics. Based on your and other witnesses' accounts of the voting procedures, it leaves little doubt that there was disregard for following transparent and unswayed voting protocols.

While I was not able to vote as I’m not from the riding, I am so disappointed by what has happened. OLP has definitely got an issue. I’d suggest in upper echelons. Continue to fight the good fight Nate. Again I’m extremely disappointed.

Way to go, Nate! A much needed review should be a top priority. Glad to have someone of your caliber going after changes in the OLP. Keep up the good work... from BC. "Sunlight is the best disinfectant".

Thank you for having the courage and conviction to launch this appeal. The OLP is broken beyond repair and I know just the man who can fix it.

Sounds pretty dudpectvthat a no-name candidate beat you by 19 votes. I don't blame you for challenging that. Best of luck.

34 extra ballots… that reason alone should trigger a new vote. That is the proof!

Thank you for outlining this. Integrity in the voting system matters.

Believe Nate! Yes he can appear to be a sore loser at times but this is absolutely credible. I've seen it myself and heard similar stories from people who have worked nomination meetings.

This type of thing is not unique to the Liberal party.

The first place to start would be to amend voter eligibility rules to limit participation to citizens and permanent residents.

Thank you for the clear explanation. I am horrified that non-citizens would be voting Whomever suggested they vote, should immediately face charges. This is not how you win an election. I'm glad you have appealed and if the party doesn't, most of us will be voting NDP in the next election. If the party can't be trusted...there's no other option but to get them out.
