Congratulations, and best wishes, Nate. I feel if anyone can make a difference, you can. And we certainly need some new (old, eg co-ops) ideas.

I personally couldn't be more pleased, Nate! We didn't get you as Ontario Liberal Leader (still licking my wounds over that disappointment), but your talents and ability to bring people together to deliver are essential for this portfolio. Hope Jagmeet reconsiders and you get some time in the post. Thank you for putting Canadians first.

Wishing you all the best in your very important new role! Check out the pods Germany is using for the homeless. Bundled together with homelessness is our mental health and addiction crisis. I know you will make a difference!

Best wishes to you and your family for a very Merry Christmas and some happy family time together!

What can we do to curtail the destruction of our green belts in the name of aFORDable housing when the easier and most cost efficient path is to provide incentives to partition and retrofit existing properties to accommodate housing on many levels, that are ACTUALLY aFORDable? For instance, instead of granting huge contracts to "Developers" interested in raping our natural resources, why not give to those existing property owners who no longer need all that space? hmmm

Thank you for having loyalty and faith in the future. I look forward to seeing in your role as. a cabinet minister. The Liberal Party has to move forward with a new leader, and for the sake of the party and the future of Canada may this happen very soon. I have no doubt that Justin Trudeau will continue to have an influence beyond being the Prime Minister of Canada when the dust has settles.

Good decision ! You’re holding an important portfolio so best of luck in using the time you have ahead ( as you yourself noted it’s likely “ a short runway”. ) Remember nonetheless that You are not alone.
