It’s past time for change.
And that change starts in Scarborough.
After a big win for our federal Liberals, the Ontario Liberal Party has officially called the nomination election in Scarborough Southwest for Saturday May 9 (timing TBD).
The deadline to register to vote in that election is Saturday April 25 at 5 pm.
Anyone who is 14+ and a resident can register for free. The riding boundaries are the east side of Vic Park to the west side of Markham Rd, and the south side of Eglinton down to the lake.

We can’t take anything for granted in a contested nomination race. And this is an important step towards delivering serious leadership, rebuilding the Ontario Liberal Party, and ending the Ford government’s incompetence and corruption.
We deserve so much better.

A smart government that creates economic opportunity, builds housing, transit and energy infrastructure at speed and scale, drives competition and innovation instead of protecting insiders, manages public finances responsibly, and prioritizes excellence in public education and youth employment because our future depends on it.
A fair government that delivers dignity, tackles the cost of living and inequality, prioritizes efficient and effective public healthcare, improves home care for our seniors, reverses Ford’s OSAP cuts, and ends homelessness.
An honest government that acts with integrity, strengthens transparency rules and accountability watchdogs, empowers parliamentarians as voices for their communities, and works across the aisle to get things done and to rebuild trust.
