Nice to see you pop up on my screen on such an important topic. However some research in medicine requires animal testing using rats which are bred for this purpose. I realize this will upset some folks.
I hope your abilities will be recognized and you will be back in Cabinet! We need your skills and intelligence!
The easiest way to save untold numbers of animals from needless suffering is to ban rodent glue traps. As the Toronto Wildlife Centre can confirm, many non-target species endure hideous deaths on these inhumane products.
The government has promised bail reform and we’ll be having that conversation in Parliament this fall for sure. The trick will be to ensure we take effective action there too, as there’s only so much law reform itself can accomplish (vs resourcing the justice system itself, for example).
I expect to have experts on to discuss this on the podcast, and to write/post about it as well. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thank you,Nate
Clean energy and the protection of the environment must not be forgotten or overlooked.
Thank you Nate, for speaking for animals.

How can you help in regard to Bail reform? ( applogies if Ive missed any earlier post on same)
As priorities go, I think it is head and shoulders above prot3cting animals.

Why can’t protecting animals be as important as bail reform? Asking for the millions of animals who are brutalized every single day.
