As we enter the final stretch, there was a good rundown of the local race in The Toronto Star.
The best ways to help: 1) volunteer with us on E-Day, 2) donate!, 3) send a personal note to friends/neighbours encouraging them to support and vote. The personal touch goes a very long way. And every vote counts in a close race.
A campaign of ideas
We’ve worked hard to make this a campaign of ideas (links to videos below):
Housing: smart growth, more non-market housing, better tenant protections, and action to end homelessness.
Better public transit: fast, affordable, reliable, and safe.
Gardiner ramp: honest and transparent communication about Chow’s work to fast-track the new Cherry Street ramp starting next year.
Protecting our public waterfront and environment: no to jets, let’s re-imagine Woodbine Beach with the expiry of the exclusive food services lease, and more.
Healthy school food: to set our kids up for success.
Community safety: restoring 54 Division and community policing for East York.
A responsive City Councillor: focused on helping you solve local problems.
Of course, we need to win to deliver on ideas.
The local race comes down to this.
The Star article speaks for itself. I didn't even know the campaign connections until reading it.
In the end, if you've trusted me as your voice in Ottawa, know that I will be that same principled and effective voice for our community down at City Hall.
Vote for who you trust.

ACTUALLY ANSWERING THE CALLS - check
Overdelivering on answers and solutions - big check
Cares a lot about people and all kinds of issues - check
Signed up for volunteering on E-day - check
Still waiting for returned calls from Brad as a councillor - ... tick-tock
Trusting enough to stand behind and follow where he leads - can't wait to see.
Moving from a flooding 100 years old building into a brand new build. Everyone deserves a home, dignity, and a chance to do better. We all win at the end. It's important to invest in people first.
Good luck, Nate!
